If this is your first time in Seattle, we recommend going to see some of the classic Seattle attractions, such as Pike Place, the Space Needle, and the waterfront.
If you've been to Seattle before, or want to try some more local oriented places, take a look below to see some of our favorite "Things to Do"!
While you're in town, make sure to check out some of our favorite parks. We love spending sunny summer days at these spots:
- Golden Gardens is perfect for beach vibes, sand between your toes and amazing views of the water and the Olympics.
- Green Lake is our go-to for a run or float on the lake. It's super pretty and always bustling.
- Discovery Park is huge and has some great hiking trails and a cool lighthouse on the sound.
- Gas Works Park used to be an old gas plant, but now it's a park with the best views of the Seattle skyline.
The Ballard neighborhood has lots of amazing breweries and are a great way to spend an afternoon! There's also always a few food trucks setup! Here are a few of our favorites:
Stoup - This one has all around great beer, with lots of different options.
Bale Breaker & Yonder Cider Taproom - It's a collab between a cider house and a brewery, both of which are based in Eastern WA. Their outdoor space is the best in the city, and is always packed on nice days.
Reuben's Brews - This brewery makes our favorite beers in the city, their pale ales are great!
These breweries are all within walking distance of each other, so you can hop around between a few of them!
If you want to explore some more of Washington there are lots of great places in driving distance!
